It’s quite possible that I enjoy sprites more then Grant Hill. The natural progression of CSS has now pushed “sprite images” into the foray of fonts. When load time is important (and – it almost always is) you can leverage the amazing abilities of font’s and use them to generate the icons that you use most… and for a great deal of us developers, that means “Social Networking Icons”.
